Senior Manager – Marketing and Business Operations

The right candidate be responsible for marketing strategy localization and execution, driving business performance and building a local marketing team. 

Scope of work:

Marketing strategy localization and execution

  • Customer research and local brand-building support
  • Events, PR and Media
    • The candidate will be responsible for crafting the annual signature events calendar for Beijing Kerry Center  
    • Forming and executing our PR strategy
    • Actively build relationships with traditional and digital media
  • Tenant relationship building and collaboration  
    • Understand our tenants’ business and marketing needs, work with tenants’ marketing teams on Beijing Kerry Center promotional plans
    • Connect different tenants together to create a win-win situation  
    • Curate innovative and interesting tenant promotional plans to drive tenants’ business
  • Third party collaboration
    • Build a network of third parties including online platforms, organizations and institutions for project and marketing collaboration designed to  raise brand awareness and drive traffic and sales

  • Digital and social media marketing
    • Localize digital and social media marketing
    • Create engaging content to drive online and offline traffic 


  •  CRM and data
    • Work with the group CRM team to launch a loyalty program at Beijing Kerry Center
    • Be sensitive to data and curating membership activities based on data insights 
    • Understand retail IT and data; be aware of retail technology trends and actively source local solution providers 
    • Responsible for local member online and offline operations, member acquisition, retention, and increasing member spending at retail shops


  • Community building
    • Understand community building principles with hands-on experience  
    • Understand what drives community engagement around Beijing Kerry Center 
    • Setup a community building activity calendar and execution plan
  •  Marketing budget management and ROI Analysis


The right candidate should have over eight years of business and marketing experience in retail, the internet or a media company. Entrepreneurial experience is highly valued alongside excellent communication skills, ability to work under tight deadlines and experience leading teams and working with senior executives.
